Brain Dump: Things With Which I Am Currently Obsessed
Some of these obsessions are long-standing, some are brand new. All are a little strange, I will readily admit.
- Typer Shark, wherein I berate myself if I am under 90 words per minute or 95% accuracy
- Marion Nestle's What to Eat, leading me to yell, "What's up with you and the damn sugar water???" every time the husband drinks a Coke
- Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me! (must find Adam Felber!!!)
- Paul Adelstein, still, thank you very much
- The Logan Square Theater, where one can take in a movie for $3
- Filmspotting podcasts, both for the film reviews, and for the ridiculous sibling-like banter between Adam and Sam
- Identifying the specific locations appearing in Stranger Than Fiction
- Jonathan Coulton, creator of awesome songs like Code Monkey, Skullcrusher Mountain, and You Ruined Everything
- My Super Sweet 16, although now whenever I watch it, I have to say, "It's ok, Satan, you're not as bad as the girls on My Super Sweet 16!"
- Broadsheet and Bitch Magazine, to keep up my feminist cred
- Marketplace podcasts, although I usually fast-forward through the numbers
- BLTs from Milk & Honey
- The Once More, With Feeling sing-along scheduled for this weekend (still contemplating whether to go get some PJs in order to dress up as Xander and Anya)
- Sunflower Market, which provides cheap (unlike Whole Foods), consistently good (unlike Trader Joe's) organic produce
- Joss Whedon's Buffy, Season 8 - March 7, baby!

Like you have anything to say about it - I read your livejournal enough to know you consume barrels of fake sugar water each day!

That's because the i.v. drip is so inconvenient and I hate needles.
